Another graduation!

Harrison graduated from Airborne School today...crazy to think how far he has come in just a year!  Hoping to help him purchase a new (to him) vehicle as he goes to the next phase of training.

I'm still trying to learn to be a parent of a young adult.  Our goal as parents are to get our kids out of the house and independent right?  If that's the case...why is this so hard??  I guess I will figure it out!

It's been a while!

Not sure that I will keep this up but decided today would be a great day for a blog post!

So many things have changed since my last real post...the TEST post didn't count!

All of our kids have graduated!  Harrison from Basic Training for the US Army, Lindsey from the University of Georgia, and Mindy from Grayson HS.  Our May has been one full of blessings!

I am excited to see all that the summer holds as we transition into a new phase of life.  Parenting young adult kids!  It is strange but exciting!

Reuniting with a long lost friend...

I am so thankful to have reunited with a friend from a long time ago. Jerae and I grew up together "best friends" from the age of 12. Life happened and we went our separate ways. I started looking for her a couple of months ago and to my surprise she was married and expecting a baby. We reconnected and it was great seeing her again! I look forward to staying in touch.

Last Saturday I got to watch sweet Brayden. He is now 1 and quite mobile. I had a great time with him. He liked Cammie cage!

A SNOW DAY in Georgia

Well. It's been awhile since I have updated but today was worth a post. Yesterday it was 60 degrees in GA and I happened to watch the weather report. It said there was a chance of snow on Sunday (today). Yeah right...I thought! I woke up to rain and headed to church. As I left church...this is what it looked like at 10:30.

By 11:00 it really was snowing...in GA! It is 6:20 and it is still snowing...really and there is snow on the ground. School has officially been cancelled! Wow. Enjoy a few pics.
